I thought of not posting this as it has too many mistakes..but love the colours, rhythm and the mood of this spring festival.......:)

Invasion of Dish...

As I was on my way to my Grandmom's place almost after a decade, I could see the changes that took place along the way.Massive concrete roads instead of the usual pitch-blend ones and the villages....thatched houses are replaced by shimmering tinned roof and most significantly, I noticed the invasion of satellite dishes with each house flaunting one of its own..

Village Lad

Another portrait....this time of a lad from my native place Assam. I tried to capture their simplicity.

Manipuri Maiden

Thought of going for a portrait in watercolor....and found a photograph of a manipuri girl. What's more appropriate than this while in the North-Eastern part of India?

Musings

After seven long years I'll be visiting my birthplace...meet my grandmom...for all these I don't mind staying away from my writings even for a month...but my colors and canvases...they just follow me wherever I go...:)

Veiled......

Often I've heard the veil causing much furore amongst the liberal bunch...but can anyone deny the romanticism behind it? Very often I've noticed men being attracted to the veiled one...is it the mystery waiting to be unveiled which attact them? 

Samudra at Kovalam

As I woke up to a sunny morning at Kovalam, the rough ruffles with its roars and the tranquil tide pools in the shore made me wonder of mother nature's awe-inspiring capabilities and I remained awestruck like the man on the shore, lone and self searching.
