Made this peacock out of mountboard, marble paper anf foil paper for Ganapati decoration. The idea came up spontaneously. May be this is my way of worshipping the 'Bappa'....
I used Foil papers of blue, green and gold colours for the body, cut these in strips of waves and pasted on a thermocol base one after another. For neck and tail, I used mount board as the base, cut these into shapes and used blue and gold foil papers for neck and face and blue, gold foil papers and green and brown marble papers and sequins. I shaped the feathers individually and pasted on the mountboard. The base for body has to be thick so that it can stand vertically.
