Seascape 2
I saw this lone fisherman in the wee hours at a deserted beach in Alibaug. With a burning ghat in the vicinity of the beach, every grain of sand reminded of some departed soul, but, he seemed oblivious or probably was too used to and at ease. His sporty look and efficient manner of braving the waves caught my fascination.

A marriage ceremony
Since my bad back's creating trouble and I'm unable to sit without support for long, my tribal girl's yet to be decked with her fineries. But, life without color's simply depressing and frustrating for me,so, I decided to go for something lighter and destressing...Warli art..basic of basics but expressive to its heights. A wooden frame and my leftover wall-paper are what I chose to paint on. The grainy surface of the paper gave a nice texture. Although the entire work was kind of childish, but I felt a wave of relaxation throughout.

Musings
Its been ages since I could complete a work. It seems God's pretty annoyed for reasons I'm not aware. Trying hard to cope with the situations, hope I come out like phoenix from the frustrating situations.

Buddha
The paintings of Ajanta had always fascinated me since my childhood. When I first visited the caves 4 years ago, it was a dream come true. I was mesmerized...the paintings with their detailed works and series of paintings depicting a particular story left me speechless. Of all the paintings, one had the image of Buddha in a different shade...dark and more human than divine...worried more than serene.
