DUALITY

Abstract is a field where there is a very thin line between a matured subject and a childish love for colour splashes. I started this on request....chose the subject but was unsure of its outcome.
Duality exists in every individual...in every relationship. A teenage daughter is still vulnerable but thinks and enacts as an independent and determined individual often countered by the mother. Probably...mother too is still vulnerable and tries to protect the daughter more than required. There is a clash of personality, of sensuality too.......

Stairs

A morose heart gives rise to peculiar thoughts..sometimes...a drop of tear or two which we hide,

Stippling is an amazing technique....dots forming images..almost like pixel art. When someone gave the idea of drawing a forest with this method..I thought to give it a go. It was tedious with a normal paintbrush but fun. Hope everyone likes it. Thinking of trying some more in future.

Seascape 2

I saw this lone fisherman in the wee hours at a deserted beach in Alibaug. With a burning ghat in the vicinity of the beach, every grain of sand reminded of some departed soul, but, he seemed oblivious or probably was too used to and at ease. His sporty look and efficient manner of braving the waves caught my fascination.

Seascape

The other day I was going through the snaps of Tarkarli...the clear blue sky and the emerald green water combined with clean white sand was inspiring enough for a seascape. First of the series, hope my skill in watercolor improves with each one of them.
