Colours...and if its of autumn leaves...is the most beautiful sight. To add to it, my romantic self would love to wander through a path surrounded by these colours of nature...Hope my dearest one gets an insight of this self of mine through this pic.
A beautiful capture by one of my friend's hubby in their trip to Kerala inspired this painting...difficult were the shades as this was the first time I was trying a realistic sunset scenario with acrylic. I enhanced the rippling effect of water...
This was quite challenging as I had to transform Lord Ganesha into a modern or say, an abstract form. The pose came suddenly in my mind....though an abstract, I couldn't refrain myself from painting the blessing hand and the delicious 'modak' without which I felt the concept would be incomplete.
I saw beautiful Kanchenjunga from an Indian flight enroute Delhi from Guwahati Mesmerising was the view and mesmerised and overwhelmed was I to see the entire Himalayan range on my flight window. The Golden Peak is my tribute to this beautiful mountain I wish to see again and again.....
I joined this group of amateur photographers few weeks ago and saw a photograph titled black in nature...nice little composition of silhouettes of leaves against setting sun...thought of trying it out as an abstract and here it is.
